good reminder of this writing, I think Born to Be Nervous wrote up something about this same guy a while back. What I am trying to say is thanks for reminding me to investigate further!
No problem. Pancake only published 5 stories in his lifetime and there were several more published posthumously. There all always published together. I got "The Stories of Breece D'J Pancake" on ebay for about $4.00. The Atlantic Monthly published most of his stories, and three of his best ("Trilobites," "Hollow" and "Honored Dead") are all available in complete form on the Atlantic Monthly website.
